Influencing Factors and Sustainable Development of Rural Carbon Footprint
With the development of rural areas, environmental pollution is gradually increasing. It is of great significance to clarify the impact of factors such as residents'lives, rural production, and ecological construction on carbon emissions, which helps to evaluate the local ecological environment and promote low-carbon and green development. This paper discussed the concept of rural carbon footprint, influencing factors, and the construction of sustainable rural ecology, taking a certain village(H)in Fangshan district of Beijing as an example, based on the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC)carbon emission inventory calculation method, the carbon footprint of residents'living and agricultural production in H village was calculated, and the impact of residents'living, agricultural production, energy consumption, and transportation on rural carbon footprint was deeply studied. Finally,in line with the measured data, important indicators affecting rural carbon footprint were calculated, and strategies and methods for achieving carbon reduction in rural development were put forward,so as to promote low-carbon living and the development of low-carbon rural communities, and promote sustainable development in rural areas.
