SWOT Analysis of Vietnamese Cashew Nuts Exports and Recommendations for China-Vietnam Cooperation
The cashew nuts industry in Vietnam holds a pivotal position in the global agricultural products market and stands out as one of Vietnam's major agricultural exports.Vietnam has maintained its top-ranking position in global cashew nuts exports for several consecutive years,significantly impacting the Vietnam's overall export trade.Although Vietnamese cashews have significant advantages such as good quality in export,there are also problems such as rising production costs,a relative lack of well-known international brands,and challenges such as fierce competition in the international market and increased technical requirements of importing countries.With the signing of free trade agreements between Vietnam and demand countries and the gradual recovery of market demand after the COVID-19 pandemic,Vietnam's cashew nut exports have ushered in new opportunities.China and Vietnam should carry out in-depth cooperation,jointly build the brand of cashew nut in Vietnam and improve the level of production technology through cooperation in the fields of jointly negotiating trade agreements,jointly building e-commerce platforms,and jointly researching production technology,so as to achieve the sustainable development of the cashew nuts industry in Vietnam,promote the development of cashew nut trade between Vietnam and China,and further deepen the economic and trade cooperation between China and Vietnam.
