Influence of the Expenses Associated with Maintaining Relationship in Rural Areas on Labor Transfer
The expenses associated with maintaining relationship are a traditional custom in rural China,which play an important role in the process of social interaction.From the perspective of human relations,this paper combed the characteristics of Chinese rural expenses associated with maintaining relationship,analyzed the impact of rural expenses associated with maintaining relationship on labor transfer,according to the Chinese Family Panel Studies(CFPS)micro data,using OLS model analyzed the rural expenses associated with maintaining relationship on labor transfer,and further examined non-agricultural entrepreneurship in rural intermediary effect between expenses associated with maintaining relationship in rural areas and labor transfer,finally discussed the influence of expenses associated with maintaining relationship in rural areas on labor transfer from the aspects of regional heterogeneity.The results showed that the expenses associated with maintaining relationship in rural areas has an inhibitory effect on the transfer of rural labor force,indicating that the increase of expenses associated with maintaining relationship in rural areas will reduce the probability of rural labor force going out to work;non-agricultural entrepreneurship has a complete intermediary effect between expenses associated with maintaining relationship in rural areas and labor transfer;the alienation phenomenon of human consumption in central China is more obvious.Therefore,we should give full play to the leading role of grass-roots leading cadres,increase the investment in rural educational resources,and advocate reasonable ways of human communication.
