AGRICULTURAL HIGH-QUALITY DEVELOPMENT:LEVEL MEASUREMENT,SPATIAL-TEMPORAL DIFFERENTIATION AND CONVERGENCE CHARACTERISTICS
Guided by the new development concept,the spatio-temporal differentiation and convergence characteristics of high-quality agricultural development at the regional level is explored to clearly demonstrate the unbalanced overall situation of the high quality agricultural development in China.Based on the provincial panel data from 2011 to 2020,a comprehensive evaluation index system of agricultural high-quality development was constructed,and the entropy method,Dagum Gini coefficient method,coefficient of variation method and spatial convergence model were used to verify the spatio-temporal differences of agricultural high-quality development in China.The results were showed as follows.The level of high-quality agricultural development in China showed a rising trend and the overall difference was fluctuating and declining,but the regional difference was obvious,and the regional difference was the main source of the overall difference.Moreover,except for Northeast region,there were σ convergence,spatial absolute β convergence and spatial conditional β convergence in the high-quality agricultural development in China,and the convergence between regions and periods had obvious spatial and temporal differences.Therefore,in order to further raise the level of high-quality agricultural development and narrow regional differences,we need to improve our capacity for innovation in agricultural science and technology,strengthen agricultural infrastructure development,thoroughly implement the new development philosophy,and transform the pattern of agricultural development.What's more,we should follow the principle of comparative advantage development,establish a cross-regional agricultural collaborative innovation platform,and strengthen the high-quality integrated and coordinated development of regional agriculture.
