REVIEW AND PROSPECT OF THE RESEARCH ON THE RURAL REVITALIZATION IN CHINA
The promotion of rural revitalization plays a crucial role in advancing the modernization of socialism with Chinese characteristics.From the aspects such as literature characteristics,evolutionary trajectories,and thematic focal points,this paper conducts a retrospective review of existing research on rural revitalization.It forecasts future trends in rural revitalization and thus provide theoretical guidance and practical references for further efforts in this domain.A comprehensive analysis was conducted on a sample of 3 532 journal articles published in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)from 2007 to 2022.The selected articles focused on the theme of'rural revitalization'were analyzed by using the scientific bibliometric analysis tool CiteSpace.The findings revealed an upward trend in the quantity of publications on rural revitalization.The research process could be divided into two phases:the initial development phase and the subsequent vigorous development phase.It had been observed a certain degree of collaboration and communication among core research institutions,however limited to singular sorts of organizations.The level of cooperation between scholars and research institutions was observed to be fairly low,and a strongly interconnected academic community and a high-productivity author concentration had not yet formed.Furthermore,existing research on rural revitalization predominantly centered on the effective connection between poverty alleviation and rural revitalization,the transformation and innovation of rural governance systems,the integrated development of rural industries,and the coordinated development mechanism between rural revitalization and targeted poverty alleviation.The findings additionally demonstrated that keyword clustering presents four core themes,including the scientific connotation of rural revitalization,development models,effectiveness measurement,and development strategies.Therefore,the future research on rural revitalization will primarily concentrate on improving the theoretical framework of rural revitalization,promoting reform and innovation in the development model of rural revitalization,accurately evaluating the effectiveness of rural revitalization,and facilitating the continuous and rapid advancement of rural revitalization through collaboration.
