RESEARCH ON THE SPATIAL DISTRIBUTION AND INFLUENCING FACTORS OF RURAL HOMESTAY TOURISM IN THE QINLING MOUNTAINS SHAANXI SECTION
Rural homestays have become a popular choice for domestic and foreign tourists to experience Chinese rural culture,and have become a new driving force for promoting high-quality development of regional tourist destinations.The rich tourism resources in the Shaanxi section of the Qinling Mountains were selected as the research area,and through various channels such as Ctrip Homestay,Meituan Homestay,and Qunar Homestay,312 rural homestays in the Shaanxi section of the Qinling Mountains were counted,and the geographic coordinates of the homestay locations were obtained by using the Baidu Maps coordinate picking tool,then spatial analysis methods were used to explore the spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors of rural homestays in this region.The results were listed as follows.(1)Rural homestays in the Shaanxi section of the Qinling Mountains showed a significant spatial aggregation characteristic of"global dispersion and local aggregation"in their spatial distribution.Among them,the areas of Chang'an district in Xi'an,Lantian county,Zhashui county in Shangluo,Taibai Mountain area in Baoji,and Huashan area in Weinan were relatively densely distributed,while other counties and districts were relatively sparse.The spatial aggregation phenomenon in Chang'an district and Lantian county was relatively balanced and widely developed.(2)The distribution of rural homestay clusters was influenced by factors such as tourism policies,population,economic level,transportation conditions,and tourism resources,and the rural homestays in the Shaanxi section of the Qinling Mountains had a strong dependence on transportation conditions and the distribution of water systems.Therefore,the development of rural homestays in the Shaanxi section of the Qinling Mountains should take the following measures:Persisting in ecological protection,improving transportation conditions,enhancing the planning and construction of beautiful rural water systems,strengthening the linkage between rural homestays and the cultural and natural resources of the Qinling Mountains,and promoting industrial transformation and upgrading.
