SPATIAL CORRELATION NETWORK CHARACTERISTICS OF AGRICULTURAL CARBON EMISSIONS IN WESTERN CHINA
Carbon emissions from agricultural production activities become a major component of China's carbon emissions. To help in the understanding of agricultural emissions in China, this study explores the carbon emissions from agricultural production activities.Based on the data of 12 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in the western China from 2012 to 2021,the total agricultural carbon emissions were measured from three types of carbon sources:crop planting, livestock breeding and agricultural material input. The spatial correlation network characteristics of the calculated agricultural carbon emissions in the western China were analyzed by using social network analysis. The results were indicated as follow.(1)The total agricultural carbon emissions in western China showed an upward-downward-upward trend;(2)The overall characteristics of the spatial correlation network of agricultural carbon emissions in western China were relatively stable and the spatial interaction among provinces was continuously enhanced;(3)The absolute center of spatial correlation network of agricultural carbon emissions in western China is SiChuan Province. The correlation between influencing factors of agricultural carbon emission in western China has been continuously enhanced, which provides references for carbon emission reduction strategies in western China from three aspects:improving agricultural land utilization efficiency, optimizing agricultural industrial structure and improving agricultural ecological environment.
