COUPLING COORDINATION BETWEEN AGRICULTURAL CARBON EMISSION EFFICIENCY AND AGRICULTURAL ECONOMIC GROWTH IN HAINAN PROVINCE UNDER THE BACKGROUND OF"TWO MOUNTAINS"THEORY
The"Two Mountains"theory aims to seek coordinated development of ecological environment and economic growth and realize the ecological development concept of"green mountains and clear waters are as valuable as mountains of gold and silver".In order to test the implementation effect of the"Two Mountains"theory, this study took the national ecological civilization experimental zone,Hainan province,as an example, and used the super-efficient SBM model with non-expected output to measure the efficiency of agricultural carbon emission, and used the coupling coordination degree and geographic detector to analyze the spatiotemporal variation characteristics and driving factors of coupled coordination between agricultural carbon emission efficiency and agricultural economic growth in Hainan province. The study were showed as follows.(1)The agricultural carbon emission efficiency in Hainan province from 2010 to 2021 was in a non-efficient state, and the efficiency value was steadily increasing. And at the city and county level, the highest agricultural carbon emission efficiency mean value was in Sanya city, and the lowest was in Haikou city.(2)The coupling coordination degree of agricultural carbon emission efficiency and agricultural economic growth in Hainan province during the study period showed a fluctuating state, among which, the coupling coordination level of the western and central cities and counties was low,and the coupling and coordination level of eastern cities and counties was high.(3)The regional differences of coupling and coordination of agricultural carbon emission efficiency and agricultural economic growth in Hainan province were influenced by the combination of government input, education level, industrial structure, energy use, living standard and urbanization. In summary, the overall agricultural carbon emission efficiency of Hainan province is on the rise, and most cities and counties have harmonized their agricultural carbon emission efficiency with agricultural economic growth.
