In recent years,the Chinese economy shifts from a high-speed growth stage to a high-quality development stage. As a new production factor,data is a strategic basic resource,a new type of production element,and an important new productive productivity. It plays an increasingly important role in the process of the booming digital economy. Data elements provide new opportunities for achieving high-quality agricultural development,building a strong agricultural country,and providing new kinetic energy. Countries around the world deploys and promotes the development of big data as a national strategy. The Party Central Committee and the State Council also attaches great importance to the role of data elements and introduces a series of policy documents to promote the use of data efficiently,and empower the real economy,as well as accelerate our country's accelerated progress from "data big country" to "data strong country". Agriculture is an important area for the digital transformation of our country's industry. Agricultural data elements play a key role in driving the high-quality development of agriculture. This article elaborated on the significant role of data elements and analyzed their mechanism in driving the high-quality development of agriculture.
