On the Interactive Logic between the Party's Self-Reform and Chinese Path to Modernization:Based on the Perspective of Historical Experience and Practical Investigation
Since its founding over one hundred years ago,the CPC has been playing the roles of guarantor,designer and pro-moter in the process of exploring and promoting Chinese modernization,demonstrating the Chinese logic of strong party leader-ship and modern state building.This determines the interactive logic of two-way formation between the Party's self-reform and Chinese path to modernization.On the one hand,self-reform is a prerequisite for the CPC to effectively promote the process of Chinese modernization.From the perspective of theoretical logic,the thoroughness of self-reform determines the practice depth of effective promotion of modernization process.From the perspective of historical logic,the adherence to effective promotion of modernization through self-reform is an important experience for national development and progress.From the perspective of practice logic,self-reform is the natural requirement for the CPC to deal with problems and challenges in the process of lead-ing modernization in the new era.On the other hand,the historical mission of realizing Chinese modernization stipulates the practice direction of the Party's self-reform.From the perspective of Party spirit orientation,it stipulates that the Party should always maintain advanced nature and purity with the spirit of self-reform.From the perspective of skill orientation,it stipulates that the Party must cultivate officials with"Five Excellences"by the spirit of self-reform.From the perspective of institutional orientation,it stipulates that the Party must continuously improve the framework of Party regulations with the spirit of self-reform.The revelation of this interactive logic helps overcome the one-sided understanding of the logical relationship between them and inject strong endogenous power of the Party's self-reform in the new era continuously.
