Implications,Challenges and Practices of Data Justice in the Reform of Governance in Universities
The theory of data justice originated from the West, with the core viewpoint of"visibility, engagement with technology, and non-discrimination"in data use.The data justice in the reform of governance in universities should be based on improving the data literacy of managers, and the main approach should be to adhere to openness justice, combination justice, and prevention justice. However, when promoting data governance reform, universities face issues such as lack of data visibility, polarization between subjectivity and technological rationality, and prominent data bias and technological discrimination. To further promote the modernization of governance capabilities in universities in the new era, firstly,we must adhere to openness justice, while balancing data representativeness and data privacy protection;secondly,we must adhere to combination justice and promote the benign combination of human subjectivity and technological rationality;thirdly,we must adhere to prevention justice, always maintain vigilance against algorithmic data, and prevent various biases and discrimination.
