Construction and Empirical Verification of"Double-Dominance"Multimodal Teaching Mode of College English for Art Students in a Blended Learning Environment
Based on the study of 288 art students in a university,according to their learning characteristics,the author in the current research developed a"Double-Dominance"multimodal English teaching mode.Furthermore,the author verified the effectiveness of the teaching mode by analyzing collected data such as tests,questionnaires and students'feedback.The result showed that this mode could achieve a balance between"student-centered"and teacher-led"in the teaching process,which was helpful to mobilize the art students'initiative in English learning.It also cultivated students'independent learning ability,and improved their academic performance.Therefore,the"Double-Dominance"multimodal teaching mode has exerted a certain promoting effect on improving the effectiveness of college English teaching for art students.
