Problems,Causes,Targeted Suggestions for the Construction of Textbooks in Chinese Universities:A Case Study of the Textbook of Industrial Economics
Textbooks are state power,reflecting the will of the Communist Party of China and the People's Republic of China.High-Quality textbooks have always been the goal pursued by universities as well as the key work of the universities.Using the textbook of Industrial Economics as an example,by means of data and exemplification,the author in the article firstly points out three problems in the construction of textbooks in Chinese universities,namely low-level repetition of textbooks,low enthusiasm of high-level teachers in compiling textbooks and lack of implementation in choosing textbooks.After analyzing the causes of these problems in detail,the author then puts forward some targeted suggestions for the construction of high-level textbooks in Chinese universities from a theoretical perspective,including improving the quality of textbooks through optimized integration of educational resources,strengthening policy guidance and encouraging high-level teachers to compile textbooks,and establishing and improving the system of textbooks selection to choose high-level textbooks.
