Establishment of an Optimized Method for Measuring the Relative Molecular Weight and Distribution of Natural Rubber by Gel Permeation Chromatography
This paper was used to explore the influence of gel permeation chromatography instrument test conditions on test results of the relative molecular weight and distribution of natural rubber. In this study, the molecular weight and distribution of the same natural rubber sample were tested by gel permeation chromatography, and the optimal gel permeation chromatography test conditions were determined:the detector was a differential refractive detector, and the mobile phase was tetrahydrofuran, and the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min,While the temperature of the column was 40℃,the injection volume was 30 μL.And different varieties of natural rubber samples were tested and analyzed under the condition. The results showed that the method had a high accuracy(>98%)and a good reproducibility(RSD<5%).This study provided an experimental guidance and a theoretical basis for the influence of instrument test conditions on the relative molecular weight and the distribution of natural rubber when using gel permeation chromatography to test the relative molecular weight and distribution of natural rubber in the future.
