Comprehensive Cultivation Techniques for High-quality and High-yield'Taiqiu'Sweet Persimmons in the Southern Region of China
On the basis of years of practical experience in introducing and planting'Taiqiu'sweet persimmons in low latitude southern production areas,efficient and high-quality cultivation techniques have been explored and organized,such as garden selection,seedling planting,water and fertilizer management,soil management,shaping and pruning,flower and fruit preservation,disease and pest control,and fruit harvesting.This paper focused on the key technical measures of reasonable pruning to promote the formation of flower bud differentiation,combined with fertilization and exogenous hormone application to effectively improve fruit setting rate,which had a practical significance for guiding the growth of sweet persimmons and promoting industrial development.
