In the summer of South China,there is high temperature and rainfall,making it difficult to plant vegetables,and there is a lack of reports on supporting cultivation techniques for chieh-qua over summer in production.In order to solve the problem of chieh-qua cultivation over summer in South China,a set of cultivation techniques were developed from the aspects of variety screening,seed disinfection and germination,cultivating strong seedlings,scientific planting,disease and pest control,and timely harvesting.It has been successfully popularized in Wanqingsha and Hengli in Nansha District of Guangzhou in Guangdong Province,and achieved a good demonstration and driving effects.The technology was suitable for promotion and application in the summer of South China.
