Effects of Intercropping Peanut Under Fenlong Tillage on Photosynthetic Physiological Characteristics,Yield,Quality and Economic Benefits of Sugarcane
In order to improve the land utilization rate and increase the comprehensive economic benefits of sugarcane planting the experiment of intercropping peanut between wide and narrow rows of sugarcane under Fenlong tillage was carried out to explore the effects on the agronomic characteristics, photosynthetic physiological characteristics, yield, quality and economic benefits of sugarcane. The results showed that, compared with conventional single cropping, the tillering rate, plant height, effective stem number, yield and sugar content of sugarcane were decreased, the sucrose content and fiber content were increased, and the effects on seedling rate, stem diameter and gravity purity of sugarcane juice were not obvious. The net photosynthetic rate, stomatal conductance and transpiration rate on sugarcane were increased at tillering stage, but the effects on intercellular carbon dioxide concentration and SPAD value were not obvious. The stomatal conductance, transpiration rate and SPAD value were increased in extension period, but the effects on net photosynthetic rate and intercellular carbon dioxide concentration were not obvious. The net photosynthetic rate, stomatal conductance, intercellular carbon dioxide concentration and transpiration rate were increased during the mature stage, but the effect on SPAD value was not obvious.Due to an extra crop of peanuts, the total income of 'Guitang 44' sugarcane increased by 561 to 749 yuan per 667 m2,and the net income increased by 265 to 414 yuan;the total income of 'Guitang 55' sugarcane increased by 284 to 467 yuan per 667 m2,and the net income increased by 96 to 188 yuan. The total income and net income of 'Guitang 55' sugarcane in 3.0 m wide-narrow row intercropping pattern were the highest, followed by 'Guitang 44' sugarcane in 3.0 m wide-narrow row intercropping pattern.
