Analysis of the spatial dynamic impact of digital inclusive finance on common prosperity
Based on the city-level data and Peking University Digital Inclusive Finance Index,this paper empirically analyzes the impact of digital inclusive finance on common prosperity from the perspectives of increasing income and improving income distribution.The results show that the short-term direct effect of digital inclusive finance on the net income per capita of rural residents is significantly positive;the indirect effects of digital inclusive finance on the income distribution gap between local urban and rural residents are significantly negative in both short-term and long-term;by comparing with widening the coverage breadth or deepening the usage depth,increasing digitalization can achieve both goals of increasing income and improving income distribution.
