Research on the Formation Mechanism of Employee Thriving at Work Based on the Perspective of Leader Mindfulness Empowerment
Based on conservation of resource theory,this study explores the effect of leader mindfulness on employee thriving at work by focusing on interpersonal interaction to propose a moderated mediation model.Through the multi-time point questionnaire data analysis of 338 employees from four companies in Hebei Province,the results indicate that:Leader mindfulness has a significant positive impact on employee thriving at work,and relational energy mediates the effects of leader mindfulness on employee thriving at work;employee mindfulness positively moderates the influence of leader mindfulness on relational energy and further moderates the mediating effect of relational energy.For employees with higher level of mindfulness,the impact of leader mindfulness on relational energy becomes stronger,consequently leading to higher employee thriving at work.These findings not only elucidate the mechanism and boundary condition associated with leader mindfulness in promoting employee thriving at work,but also provide theoretical and practical inspiration for effectively fostering corporate vitality.
