Research on the Overwork Problem of Scientific Researchers from the Perspective of"Involution":Take University Teachers as an Example
In recent years, the phenomenon of"Involution"has become more and more intense, and has penetrated into the scientific research of scientific researchers, this paper focuses on the overwork problem of university teachers as an example of scientific researchers from the perspective of"Involution"of scientific research. In addition, previous studies have not explored the influence of overwork atmosphere, social contagion effect and competitive factors on university teachers'overwork.Through constructing the ologit regression model, this paper empirically analyzes the survey data of 927 university teachers, the results draws the following findings.Firstly, for university teachers, the proportion of moderate and severe overwork of university teachers reaches 50.81%,and the proportion of non overwork is only 28.26%.The average working hours per week of university teachers were 51.64 hours, and the average sleep hours per day of university teachers were 7.05 hours, the proportion of less than 6 hours was 5.3%.Secondly,from the perspective of"Involution"of scientific research, overwork atmosphere, social contagion effect and excessive competition can promote university teachers'overwork, benign competition can slow down the overwork of university teachers. That is,the overwork atmosphere will lead to university teachers'overwork. The greater the social contagion effect is,the stronger the positive impact of overwork atmosphere on university teachers'overwork is.The more excessive competition is,the stronger the positive impact of overwork atmosphere on university teachers'overwork is.Thirdly, benign competition can slow down university teachers'overwork. That is,the more benign competition is,the weaker the positive impact of overwork atmosphere on university teachers'overwork is.
