Police is a high-risk profession of work-related injuries or major illnesses which is due to the special nature of the police profession.Preventing police occupational injuries and ensuring police health are the prerequi-site and foundation for the high-quality development of public security work.On the basis of clarifying the sources of danger,hazardous and harmful factors,and their qualitative connections with risk factor,the risk factors that may lead to police occupational injuries are classified and analyzed.According to national standards,the risk fac-tors of police occupational safety and health are evaluated from different dimensions of human,material,and envi-ronmental management,based on the LEC method combined with the characteristics of policing,the types of police occupational injuries are classified into mental health problems,physiological diseases,and personal safety.Value standards are established and a risk list is formed.Risk management processes and countermeasures are proposed to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the risk management standards of establishing police occupa-tional safety and health.
