The spatial agglomeration characteristics, spatial dependence and dynamic evolutionary characteristics of China's dairy industry from 2014-2021 are investigated with the help of locational entropy index, spatial autocorrelation model and standard deviation ellipse. The results show that there is a relatively stable agglomeration trend of China's dairy industry, which has shown obvious regional differences in industrial layout and the same layout patterns with the raw milk industry. The COVID-19 pandemic has reduced the degree of agglomeration in dairy industry, but the lifting of quarantine policies and the introduction of industry revitalization plans have slowed the decline.China's dairy industry has formed a spa-tially integrated development pattern with Shanxi,Shandong,Henan provinces as the core, while there is no spatial effect in Inner Mongolia,Hei-longjiang,Ningxia provinces to neighboring provinces, despite they have significant agglomeration of dairy industry. The spatial distribution pat-tern is dominated by the"northeast-southwest"direction,and the center point of the dairy industry distribution is located in Hebei Province, the industrial core is moving westward, and the spatial spillover effect tends to be slightly weakened.
