The article evaluates the safety of a composite probiotic consisting of four species:Bifidobacterium lactis subsp.XLTG11,Lactobacillus casei LP16,Lactobacillus rhamnosus Glory LG12,and Plantarum lactis CCFM8661.Using national standard methods such as"Microbial and Parasitic Grades and Monitoring of Experimental Animals","Sanitary Standards for Drinking Water",and"General Quality Standards for Compound Feed of Ex-perimental Animals",the body weight, food intake, and water intake of rats were recorded weekly.Eye,hematological, biochemical, urine, and pathological examinations were performed on rats. The results showed that there was no statistically significant difference in the experimental results between the groups of composite probiotics at the experimental dose, and it did not cause pathological changes in various organs and abnormal blood physiological indicators in rats.It can be inferred that the composite bacteria have biological safety.
