The"CareerReady NYC"strategy guides young people to acquire the necessary job skills and experience for each developmental stage from middle school to early adulthood by developing a career preparation framework,adopting job based learning activities,expanding opportunities to enter university,and strengthening cooperation with employers,and to prepare for career success by formulating and adjusting personal career plans.This paper,through research on the"CareerReady NYC"strategy,finds that it has certain reference significance for promoting the development and improvement of career planning for young people in China in terms of maintaining continuity in career planning,achieving a win-win situation for young job seekers and employers,and constructing an effective employment guidance model.
