The Epidemic Status and Countermeasures of Main Parasitic Diseases in Dairy Cows in Linyi City
In order to improve the prevention and control effect of parasitic diseases in dairy cows,the author conducted a random sampling survey on the epidemic status of parasitic diseases in 6 different scale dairy farms and 10 free range dairy cooperatives in Linyi City.Among the 629 cows surveyed,133 cows were found to be positive for internal parasites such as coccidia,neoascaris,cryptosporidium,monitz tapeworm,and fasciola hepatica,with a positive rate of 21.1%.In a random sampling survey of 546 Holstein and Simmental cows surface parasites,89 individuals were infected with surface parasites such as mites,cowhide fly maggots,cattle lice,ticks,etc.,with an infection rate of 16.3%,with mite infections accounting for 62.9%.Based on the analysis of common parasitic pathogens,epidemic characteristics,and clinical symptoms in dairy farms in Linyi City,corresponding prevention and control strategies and deworming procedures were proposed.
