Comparison of Production Efficiency and Analysis of Influencing Factors of Different Milk Sources in Traditional Dairy Products-A Case Study of Zhenglan Banner in Inner Mongolia as an Example
Under the background of dairy industry revitalization, traditional dairy products have ushered in a good development prospect.Based on the field investigation data of 75 traditional dairy production workshops in Zhenglan Banner,Inner Mongolia, the DEA-Tobit model was used to study and analyze the production efficiency and influencing factors of the existing two milk sources acquisition methods:purchased raw milk and self-produced raw milk. The results showed that the average production efficiency of purchased raw milk was 0.717,and that of self-produced raw milk was 0.766,which was significantly higher than the former. The factors affecting the production efficiency of traditional dairy products mainly include the way of obtaining milk source, the years of engaging in traditional dairy products production, whether to register a brand or join a regional public brand, whether to adopt online sales and whether to receive financial support or skill training, and all have a significant positive impact. It is suggested to support traditional dairy products to form an integrated model of breeding and production, and suggestions are also given for other production methods to improve their ability to cope with the market.
