Investigation and Analysis of Immune Effect of Important Diseases in Cattle and Sheep in Kaili City,Guizhou Province from 2021 to 2023
[Objective]In order to do a good job in the prevention and control of cattle and sheep disease, the immune effect of Foot-and-Mouth Disease(FMD)and Peste des Petits Ruminants(PPR)vaccine was scientifically evaluated.[Method]ELISA method was used to detect the immune antibody in the serum of cattle and sheep collected from Kaili city from 2021 to 2023.[Result]From 2021 to 2023,the average pass rate of FMD O immune antibody of cattle in large-scale farms was 87.69%~89.31%,and the average pass rate of cattle in free-range farms was 65.91%~67.20%.The average pass rate of antibodies against FMD A in scale farm cattle was 71.15%~72.07%,and 55.91%~57.60%in free-range cattle. The average pass rate of FMD O immune antibody in scale farm sheep was 82.94%~85.56%,and the average pass rate in free-range farm households was 70.53%~72.27%.The average qualified rate of antibody against FMD A in sheep was 65.88%~67.22%,and the average qualified rate of free-range households was 53.68%~55.91%.The qualified rate of PPR vaccine antibody in large-scale sheep farms was 80.00%~81.11%,and the average qualified rate of antibody in free-range sheep was 71.05%~73.18%.[Conclusion]In Kaili City,Guizhou province, the immune effect of type O FMD of cattle and sheep was good, the immune effect of type A FMD of cattle and sheep was relatively poor, and the immune effect of type O/A FMD of sheep was good, but the immune effect of type O/A FMD of cattle and sheep was worse than that of large-scale farms, and the qualified rate of immune antibody of large-scale farms was higher than that of large-scale farms. It is necessary to strengthen the immunization and detection of FMD type A in cattle and sheep of large-scale farms and free-range households, and strengthen the immunization and effectiveness assessment of PPR in sheep of free-range households to ensure that no major animal outbreaks occur.
