Study on the removal of active phosphate in the tailwater of industrialized mariculture by coagulation sedimentation
This study employed a coagulation precipitation phosphorus removal process based on polymeric ferric sul-fate(PFS)to construct a coagulation precipitation phosphorus removal device, which was then applied to the removal of active orthophosphate from the tailwater of industrialized marine culture of Takifugu rubripes. The results showed that the active orthophosphate in the mariculture tailwater could be effectively removed by the chemical coagulation precipitation method, and the optimal dosage of PFS is 55 mg/L.The removal efficiency of active orthophosphate is not affected by the concentration of CODMnin the tailwater of the industrialized marine culture of Takifugu rubripes. The decrease in salinity of the tailwater and the flow rate control of the phosphorus removal device are both beneficial for the removal of active orthophosphate. When the initial concentration of active orthophosphate in the tailwater of the industrialized culture of Takifugu rubripes is 0.254 mg/L,and the flow rate of the phosphorus removal device is con-trolled at 100 L/h,the removal rate of orthophosphate reaches 78.7%after 180 min of treatment. The residual con-centration of active orthophosphate in the effluent is reduced to 0.054 mg/L,meeting the requirements for the dis-charge of the tailwater from mariculture. This study provides a device for the practical application of chemical coagula-tion precipitation phosphorus removal processes in the treatment of industrial mariculture tailwater.[Chinese Fishery Quality and Standards,2024,14(2):14-21]
