Effect of esomeprazole in the treatment of Helicobacter pylori positive duodenal ulcer
Objective To observe the effect of esomeprazole in the treatment of Helicobacter pylori positive duodenal ulcer. Methods A total of 77 patients with duodenal ulcer treated in our hospital from February 2016 to December 2016 were randomly divided into observation group (n = 34) and control group (n = 33) , The control group was treated with ranitidine + amoxicillin + clarithromycin, the observation group was treated with esomeprazole+amoxicillin + clarithromycin.The clinical symptoms of remission time, quality of life, ulcer healing, Hp eradication rate and recurrence rate in two groups were compared. Results In the observation group, the disappearance time of abdominal distension and the time of disappearance of abdominal pain were earlier than those of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There were significant differences in the physical dimension, the physical health dimension, the mental health dimension and the social function dimension between observation group and control group (P<0.05). The rate of ulcer healing was 96.97% in the observation group was higher than 79.41% in the control group (P<0.05). The rate of Hp eradication was 76.97% in the control group and 14.71% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Esomeprazole treatment of Helicobacter pylori positive duodenal ulcer patients is quite effective.
