Effect of of special Chinese herbal medicine food in diabetic patients with hyperlipidemia
Objective To investigate the positive effects of Chinese herbal medicine food in the treatment of diabetic patients with hyperlipidemia. Methods 102 cases of diabetes patients from May 2015 to May 2016 were selected and randomly divided into the observation group (n=50) and the control group (n=52). In two groups with routine Western diet therapy, the control group ate comfort pastry, observation group ate Chinese herbal medicine food , followed-up for one year. The blood glucose (FPG), blood lipid (TC), glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc) and C peptide (FCP) were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results Before the experiment, there was no significant difference between the two groups in each index, and after one year of treatment, the FPG, TC, HbAlc in the observation group were better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), there was no significant difference in C peptide values between the two groups before and after treatment. Conclusion The use of Chinese herbal food in the treatment of diabetic patients with hyperlipidemia can effectively improve blood glucose, blood lipids, glycosylated hemoglobin.
