Comparison of clinical efficacy of proton pump inhibitor in treatment of leukopenia caused by peptic ulcer
Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of proton pump inhibitors in treatment of peptic ulcer induced by leukocytes. Methods 100 cases of peptic ulcer treated in our hospital in August 2015 to September 2016 were selected and divide into two groups according to the principle of random method. The observation group were given pantoprazole sodium for injection, control group were given omeprazole sodium for injection, clinical curative effect in two groups of patients were compared. Results The total effective rate of clinical treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that of control group (98% vs. 80%, P<0.05). White blood cell counts of two groups were recovered to normal level after treatment, but there was no significant differences within two groups. The adverse reaction rate between two groups was not significantly difference (8% vs. 10%, P<0.05). Conclusion The clinical efficacy of proton pump inhibitor in treatment of leukopenia caused by peptic ulcer is effective, can promote the recovery of white blood cell count in patients, the effectiveness of pantoprazole sodium for injection more than omeprazole sodium for injection.
