Comparison of the effects of the different administration methods of mifepristone and misoprostol on induction of labor in early and middle trimester pregnancy
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of the different administration methods of mifepristone and misoprostol on induction of labor in early and middle trimester pregnancy. Methods Two groups were treated with mifepristone and misoprostol, and the control group were given oral administration. The study group was given oral mifepristone combined with vaginal misoprostol to induce labor. The effect of induced labor and the incidence of adverse reactions (drug related) were recorded and compared in the two groups. Results The abortion rate in the study group (91.30%) was significantly higher than 73.91% in the control group (P<0.05). The adverse reactions such as nausea and vomiting drugs in study group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of mifepristone and vaginal misoprostol can significantly improve the effectiveness and safety of early and mid-term pregnancy induced labor.
