Effect of calcium hydroxide iodoform paste root canal filling on periapical periodontitis of deciduous teeth
Objective To explore the effect of calcium hydroxide iodoform paste used in root canal filling of deciduous teeth with periapical periodontitis patients. Methods 60 patients with periapical periodontitis of deciduous teeth were selected from January 2016 to June were divided into two groups according to the order of admission groups, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with zinc iodide iodine clove oil paste to fill the root canal, the observation group was treated with calcium hydroxide iodine paste to fill the root canal. The incidence of postoperative pain, pain score and total effective rate were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of postoperative pain in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the pain score was lower than the control group, the total effective rate was higher than the control group, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion The effect of calcium hydroxide iodoform paste used in root canal filling significantly, can effectively prevent postoperative pain, and the pain degree of pain low on periapical periodontitis of deciduous teeth patients with product recovery polar action.
