Effect of Weichang' an granule on postoperative rehabilitation of patients with colorectal cancer
Objective To investigate the effect of Weichang'an granule on the healing process of colorectal patients. Methods 67 cases of laparoscopic treatment of colorectal cancer patients from April 2013 to February 2017 as the research object, were randomly divided into control group (n=33) and observation group (n=34) after surgery, both groups were treated with FOLFOX4 chemotherapy. The control group received chemotherapy with Kang ai needle therapy, the observation group using Weichang'an granule, 3 weeks for a cycle, a total of 6 treatment cycles. After the end of treatment were compared between the TCM syndrome score, serum tumor markers carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), tumor associated carbohydrate antigen (CA242), Carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA125) expression level, according to the SF-36 quality of life scale for the assessment of quality of life before and after intervention. Results After treatment, the CEA, CA242, CA125 of control group were (14.8+2.3) g/L, (15.7+2.1) U/mL, (28.7+3.8) U/mL, the observation group were (10.3+1.6) g/L, (12.4+1.7) U/mL, (22.6+2.9) U/mL, all significantly lower than before treatment, and the observation group of each marker was lower than that of control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Weichang'an granule can significantly enhance the immune ability, improve the clinical symptoms of patients with spleen deficiency, and inhibit the production of serum tumor factors, promote the postoperative recovery.
