Observation of terbutaline combined with budesonide inhalation in the treatment of chronic bronchitis
Objective To study the effect of terbutaline combined with budesonide inhalation in the treatment of chronic bronchitis. Methods 96 patients with chronic bronchitis in department of respiratory medicine of people's Hospital of Huzhou City from March 2015 to September 2016 were selected. After the relevant contraindications were excluded, the patients were divided into control group (n=48) and study group (n=48) according to different treatment methods. The patients in the control group received routine symptomatic supportive treatment, and the patients in the study group was given 5 mg terbutaline and 800 μg budesonide aerosol inhalation on the basis of the control group, with 2 times/d and 14 ds for continuous treatment. Results The total effective rate of the study group (95.83%) was higher than that of the control group (83.33%), the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). The disappearance time of coughing, wheezing, wheezing, rales of patients in the study group were significantly lower than those of the control group, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). The arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide (PCO2) and arterial oxygen partial pressure (PaO2) of patients in the study group were significantly higher than those of the control group, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group and the control group was 6.25% and 10.42% respectively, and there was no significant difference between the two groups. Conclusion The aerosol inhalation of terbutaline combined with budesonide in the treatment of chronic bronchitis can improve the clinical efficiency, shorten the disappearance time of the clinical symptoms, improve the PCO2 and PaO2 of the arterial blood, relieve the pain and improve the quality of life of the patients, and have higher clinical application value.
