Analysis on the clinical efficacy and safety of ornidazole mixture on the treatment of the patients with dental pulp disease
Objective To analyze the efficacy and safety of ornidazole mixture on the treatment of dental disease. Methods 72 cases with dental pulp disease from January 2016 to September 2017 in our hospital were selected. 36 cases were received ornidazole as the single group, 36 cases were received ornidazole mixture as the mixture group. The curative effect, masticatory function, serum level of inflammatory factors, adverse reactions and recurrence in the two groups were compared. Results The effective rate in the mixture group was 94.44%, which was significantly higher than that in the single group of 77.77% (P<0.05). The masticatory function in the mixture group is better than that in the single group (P<0.05), the serum levels of inflammatory factors and the incidence of adverse reactions and recurrence rate in the mixture group were lower than those in the single group (P<0.05). Conclusion Ornidazole mixture is effective and safe in the treatment of dental pulp disease, and it is an ideal treatment plan.
