Application effect of musk hemorrhoids suppository combined with polyethylene glycol electrolyte after ligation of mixed hemorrhoids
Objective To investigate the application effect of musk hemorrhoids suppository combined with polyethylene glycol electrolyte after ligation of mixed hemorrhoids. Methods 82 patients with mixed hemorrhoids in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into the routine group (n=41) and the combined group (n=41). All patients were treated with ligation of mixed hemorrhoids. The routine group was treated with polyethylene glycol electrolyte after surgery, and on the basis, the combined group was additionally treated with Musk Hemorrhoids Suppository. The rehabilitation process, scores of visual analogue scale (VAS) and activities of daily living (ADL) in the two groups were observed. Results The time for edema disappearing, wound healing time and hospitalization time of the combined group were significantly shorter than those of the routine group (P<0.05). After treatment, VAS scores were significantly decreased while ADL scores were significantly increased in two groups, and changes of the indexes were more obvious in combined group than in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of musk hemorrhoids suppository combined with polyethylene glycol electrolyte after ligation of mixed hemorrhoids can effectively shorten the recovery time of patients and significantly improve the prognosis.
