Clinical observation on the effect of zuogui pill combined with clomiphene on ovulation of polycystic ovary syndrome
Objective To investigate the effect of Zuogui pill combined with clomiphene citrate on ovarian function after treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Methods 86 patients with PCOS were randomly divided two groups. The study group were treated with Zuogui pill combined with clomiphene, and the control group were treated with clomiphene. The changes of ovarian endometrium, ovulation rate and pregnancy rate were compared in the two groups. Results After treatment, the endometrial thickness and Gonen type A endometrium in the study group were significantly better than that in the control group, the cervical mucus score in the study group was higher than that in the control group; the ovulation rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05); the number of mature follicles and pregnancy rate had no significant difference in the two groups. Conclusion Zuogui pill combined with clomiphene citrate in the treatment of PCOS can effectively promote follicular growth, improve the quality of follicles, increase the thickness of endometrium, improve the morphology, increase the ovulation rate, the pregnancy rate also has a positive effect.
