Nursing analysis of Magnesium Sulfate wet compress for prevention of phlebitis caused by dopamine infusion in children
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Magnesium Sulfate wet compress in the treatment of children with phlebitis caused by dopamine infusion. Methods A total of 60 children treated with dopamine intravenous infusion were randomly divided into control group and study group (n=30) from January 2015 to June 2017 in Hangzhou Children's Hospital. The control group were given routine nursing care in clinical intravenous injection of dopamine in children study group by intravenous infusion of dopamine during treatment, combined with Magnesium Sulfate wet compress in providing routine nursing service as its foundation. The incidence of dopamine induced phlebitis in two groups was recorded and analyzed by data input into SPSS. Results The successful rate of puncture was 100% in two groups. The analysis shows that the incidence of phlebitis caused by dopamine in the study group is 0%, and that in the control group is as high as 30%, The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Magnesium Sulfate wet dressing can significantly improve the prevention of phlebitis caused by dopamine infusion in children, and it is beneficial to protect the quality of life, physical and mental health of children.
