Study on nursing care of children with inguinal hernia treated with propofol combined with ketamine intravenous anesthesia
Objective To analyze the operation room nursing measures of propofol combined ketamine intravenous anesthesia in the treatment of inguinal hernia in children. Methods 100 children with inguinal hernia from August 2015 to May 2017 were selected as the subjects and divided into control group (n=50) and experiment group (n=50). Propofol and ketamine intravenous anesthesia were performed in the two groups. The control group was given routine nursing measures, the experimental group were given corresponding nursing intervention, before anesthesia for children and their families to explain the relevant points, strengthen communication, eliminate negative emotions, regulate the temperature in the operation room, patients actively cooperate with the anesthesiologist medication, closely related to the life signs. Comparative analysis of the experimental group and the control group of children with good rate of anesthesia, adverse reactions and parents' satisfaction and other clinical indicators. Results After the corresponding nursing measures, the excellent and good rate of the experimental group was 94%, significantly higher than 76% of the control group (P<0.05). The adverse reaction rate of the experimental group was 2%, significantly lower than 12% of the control group (P<0.05) . The satisfaction degree of the parents in the experimental group and the control group were 92%and 80%, respectively, with statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of propofol combined with ketamine intravenous anesthesia in nursing care of children with inguinal hernia can significantly improve the quality of care and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.
