Application of comprehensive nursing intervention in improving the prognosis of children with neonatal jaundice
Objective To explore the application of comprehensive nursing intervention in improving the prognosis of children with neonatal jaundice. Methods A total of 200 cases of patients with neonatal jaundice were treated from January 2013 to December 2016 in our hospital, were randomly selected into experimental group(n=100) and control group (n=100). The patients in the control group were given routine care treatment, while the patients in the experimental group were additionally given comprehensive nursing intervention. The clinical treatment effect and icteric index were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the clinical effect of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the jaundice index of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group at 1, 3 and 6 days after intervention(P<0.05). And the duration of tibial rotation and the time of the first group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Compared with conventional care, the comprehensive nursing intervention can improve the clinical effect and reduce the icteric index in the treatment of pathological jaundice of newborn.
