Effect of psychological intervention combined with acupoint Moxa Moxibustion on prevention of postpartum urinary retention
Objective To observe the clinical effect of psychological intervention combined with acupoint Moxa Moxibustion on prevention of postpartum urinary retention. Methods 100 cases of vaginal delivery women in our hospital from May 2015 to June 2017 were selected as the object of study and were randomly divided into 2 groups, 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with acupoint Moxa Moxibustion therapy,to prevent postpartum urinary retention. The experimental group was given psychological intervention on this basis,and actively communicate with the patient,correctly assess the patient's psychological status,eliminate the negative emotions,and give the targeted psychological counseling. The occurrence of urinary retention and the index of urination in the experimental group and the control group were compared and analyzed. Results After treatment,there were no urinary retention occurred in the experimental group,and urine retention occurred in 6 cases in the control group. The urinary retention rate of the control group was 12%,which was significantly higher than that of the experimental group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the control group,5 patients delivered less than 3 hours after delivery.In the experimental group,24 patients had less than 3 hours of post partum urination,and 20 patients had 3 to 4 hours of urination time.Available,the experimental group of postpartum urination was significantly better than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The clinical effect of psychological intervention combined with Moxa Moxibustion acupoint to prevent urinary retention is ideal,to help patients urinate smoothly.
