Effects of vitamin E and psychological intervention on plasma C- reactive protein and blood lipid in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus
Objective To study the effects of vitamin E and psychological intervention on the levels of plasma C- reactive protein and blood lipid in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus. Methods 60 cases of gestational diabetes mellitus in the second People's hospital of Putuo district, Zhoushan City were divided into the control group and the experimental group, the control group was received subcutaneous injection of insulin, and vitamin E treatment, a day oral dose of 30 mg. The experimental group was given psychological intervention on the basis treatment of the control group, and actively communicating with patients, answering doubts, eliminating anxiety or depression and other negative emotions, and improving clinical efficacy. The plasma C- reactive protein levels and blood lipid levels of TC, HDL-C and LDL-C before and after treatment in the experimental group and the control group were compared and analyzed. Results In the control group, after the treatment, high density lipoprotein cholesterol level (1.36±0.29) mmol/L was significantly lower than the experimental group (1.78±0.23) mmol/L, TC, TG and LDL levels in the experimental group were significantly lower than the control group, with statistical difference (P<0.05). The level of C- reactive protein (3.67±0.54) mg/L in the experimental group was significantly lower than that (4.65±0.57) mg/L in the control group with statistical difference (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of vitamin E and psychological intervention in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus could significantly improve the blood lipid levels with ideal clinical effects, and relieve the inflammatory response with high safety.
