Value of prophylactic application of somatostatin combined with psychological intervention in laparoscopic surgery for root perforative appendicitis
Objective To discuss the clinical effect of prophylactic application of somatostatin combined with psychological intervention in laparoscopic surgery for root perforative appendicitis. Methods 98 cases of patients with root perforated appendicitis were randomly selected from March 2015 to December 2016 in our hospital and were divided into experimental group and control group, with 49 cases in each group. The experimental group received psychological nursing after operation, and the somatostatin was used for preventive use, the control group received routine nursing care after operation, and no somatostatin was used. The abdominal abscess, intestinal function recovery time, postoperative hospitalization time, intestinal obstruction and the incidence of appendiceal stump fistula were compared and analyzed between the two groups. Results The postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery time in the experimental group was significantly shorter than that in the control group (P<0.05); the incidence of postoperative abdominal abscess and intestinal obstruction in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05); the hospitalization time of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Laparoscopic surgery for appendicitis perforation after root usesomatostatin and psychological nursing, can effectively reduce the rate of anxiety and depression of patients and postoperative complications, improve surgical effect, promote postoperative recovery, but no significant preventive effect on appendiceal stump fistula.
