Analysis on the value of PCR test and bacterial culture method in vaginal bacteria test
Objective To analyze the clinical value of PCR test and bacterial culture in vaginal bacteria test. Methods The clinical data of 128 patients with bacterial vaginitis treated in the second people 's hospital in Fuyang district from May 2015 to May 2017 were divided into 2 groups according to the test method. The control group were tested by bacterial culture, the observation group were tested by PCR. The detection rate of positive and negative bacteria and the positive rate of Corynebacterium, Gardnerella and Enterococcus were compared between the two groups. Results The bacteria positive rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the negative rate was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05, P<0.01), the Corynebacterium, Gardnerella vaginalis, enterococci detection rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The bacteria in vaginal secretions could be tested by bacterial culture and PCR test. Compared with bacterial culture, PCR test is more valuable than vaginal bacteria test.
