Surgical timing and effect of Percutaneous kyphoplasty combined with toner tonic soup in treatment of osteoporotic compression fractures
Objective To analysis theeffect of different surgical timing of percutaneous kyphoplasty combined with toner tonic soup in treatment of osteoporotic compression fractures. Methods 100 patients with osteoporotic compression fractures in Ningbo Yinzhou People's Hospital from October 2012 to October 2015 were selected. 52 patients in group A underwent surgery in the 7 days after injury, 28 patients in group B underwent surgery within 8-14 days after injury, 20 cases in group C underwent operation after 14 days. All patients were given toner tonic soup, daily 1 agent, points in the morning and evening suit, total for 60 days. Results One week after surgery, the Cobb angle and VAS score of the three groups were significantly improved than before surgery(P<0.05), the improvement of group A was better than that of group B and C (P<0.05); there were no significant differences in vertebral fracture reduction among the three groups; there was no significant differences in the total complication rate among the three groups, the operation time in group A was significantly shorter than that in group B and C (P<0.05). Conclusion Early implementation of PKP surgery for patients with osteoporotic compression fractures can get better results, worthy of clinical promotion.
