Clinical efficacy of fluoxetine combined with acupuncture and blood transfusion in the treatment of depression and its effect on serum cytokines and soluble receptor
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of fluoxetine combined with acupuncture and blood transfusion in the treatment of depression, and the changes of serum cytokines and soluble receptors after treatment. Methods 123 patients with depression were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with fluoxetine. The treatment group was treated with fluoxetine combined with acupuncture and bloodletting. The levels of serum cytokines IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α and IFN-γ, and soluble receptor levels were observed in both groups. Results The total effective rate was 93.6% in the treatment group and 83.3% in the control group, indicating that the total effective rate in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in cytokines between the two groups before treatment, and the levels of IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α and IFN-γ in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The soluble receptor index in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Fluoxetine combined with acupuncture and blood transfusion could improve the clinical effect with high therapeutic function.
