Effect of probiotics fermentation products of compound traditional Chinese medicine Siwei Chuanxinlian on chicken Escherichia coli
In order to investigate the effect of probiotic fermentation products(FPSCS)of compound traditional Chinese medicine Siwei Chuanxinlian(FPSCS)on chicken Escherichia coli(E.coli),the minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC)and minimum bactericidal concentration(MBC)of FPSCS against type O2 E.coli were determined by microporous plate method, and the specific pathogen free(SPF)chicken were infected with half lethal dose(LD50)of type O2 E.coli to prepare pathological model. They were randomly divided into high-dose group,medium-dose group and low-dose group of FPSCS,neomycin sulfate group,Siwei Chuanxinlian San group, probiotics group and control group. The total effective rate and cure rate of each group were analyzed, and the contents of inflammatory factors in peripheral blood of tested animals were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)kits. The results showed that the MIC and MBC of FPSCS against Escherichia coli type O2 were 31.25 mg/mL in vitro, and the total effective rate of 0.1~0.5 g/(time·only)of FPSCS was 73.33%~83.33% and the cure rate was 70%~80%,which were significantly higher than those of Siwei Chuanxinlian San group and probiotics group(P<0.05).At the beginning of treatment, the contents of TNF-ct,IL-1β and IL-6 were significantly decreased(P<0.05),and the contents of IFN-γ were significantly increased(P<0.05).These conclusion indicated that FPSCS could exert good antibacterial activity by inhibiting type O2 E.coli and reducing the content of proinflammatory factor in chicken.
