Evaluation of nutritional quality of conventional silage for dairy cows in ningxia
Silage is the main feed for dairy cows in winter,late autumn and early spring in Ningxia.Itsquality has great influence on the health and milk yield of dairy cows.In this study,silage wascollected from dairy farms in Guyuan,Yinchuan,Zhongwei,Wuzhong and Shizuishan,To determine and analyze its nutritional index,The results showed that the values of CP,ADF,NDF,DM,DMI,DDM,RFV of silage in different regions of Ningxia were different and had no significant difference.In order to evaluate the nutritional quality of ensilage in different regions,the weight of subordinate function and principal component analysis were used.The ensilage of Zhongwei had the highest score,ranking as Zhongwei>Yinchuan>wuzhong>Shizuishan>Guyuan.It is suggested that the suitable varieties of silage corn should be selected according to the local climate conditions,and field management and silage technology should be strengthened in order to obtain high quality silage.
