Comparative analysis of artificial insemination effect of progesterone microencapsulated liquid preparation in estrus season of dairy goats
[Absrtact]The estrus of dairy goats has a certain seasonality, and from April to July each year belongs to the lackluster season. In order to improve the utilization rate of breeding goats, expand the population size and achieve balanced production throughout the year, the bottleneck of low reproductive rate of dairy goats in the lackluster season must be broken through. In this study,150 suitable breeding dairy goats were randomly divided into 3 groups with 50 goats in each group. The first group was treated with liquid preparation +PMSG+PG using TMR as the carrier, the second group was treated with CIDR+PMSG+PG,and the third group was treated without any treatment. The results showed that under the same feeding conditions, the estrus rate of groups 1 and 2 was better, and the difference was not significant(P>0.05),but was better than that of group 3,and the difference was significant(P<0.05).However,the pregnancy rate of estrus ewes after artificial insemination showed that the pregnancy rate of groups 1 and 3 was higher than that of group 2,and the difference was significant(P<0.05),indicating that the application of progesterone microencapsulated liquid preparation to dairy goats in the barren season can effectively reduce the adverse effects of reproductive tract administration, effectively improve the utilization rate of breeding sheep, and provide technical support for the rapid propagation of farmed dairy goats.
